Located at the foot of Mt. Meeker, Highlands Camp & Retreat Center offers 285 acres of natural experiences, including streams, ridges, meadows, rock outcroppings, and pine forests, all with sunrise and sunset views.
Just a 90-minute drive from the Denver Airport and 60 minutes from Boulder, Colorado.

Hospitality is our specialty! We handle the details so you can focus on running your program.
We will do everything we can to minimize space sharing when more than one group is present. Respecting the needs of other groups fosters a cooperative environment.

About
We offer comfortable hotel-style lodging options, year-round, and summer cabins to meet your needs. We have excellent meal service and large and small indoor and outdoor meeting and gathering areas.
Retreat Center Lodge: sleeps up to 124 guests
Year-round Cabins: sleeps up to 83 guests
Summer Cabins: sleeps up to 80 guests
Summer temperatures can average from the 50s to the 70s, while Winter temperatures range from 50s to below freezing.

Noteworthy
Firewood is available for wood-burning fireplaces. We appreciate guests being good stewards of this valuable resource.
Pets are not allowed on the property.
No food allowed in sleeping areas.
We offer free wireless internet, which works best in the Retreat Center Lodge lobby. Cell phone reception varies depending on the provider.

No charge for Gaga Court, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Hiking
The Activity Center includes a pool table, foosball table, darts, and ping-pong. $75/day
Pond/Boating $185/hr, 2-hour minimum; you may have up to 25 swimmers, and one lifeguard will be provided.
Low Ropes Challenging Course $10/per person. Safety training is provided, and then guests run their own program.
Archery is $175/hour with a 2-hour minimum. The price drops to $50/hour if the group supplies its own certified leader and gear.
Rock climbing is available. You must contact KMAC Climbing School to schedule a date/time with them. 970-586-5990
Campfires are dependent on the weather; wood is provided!

The Retreat Center Lodge is fully ADA-compliant. The lodging wing has an elevator between levels, and we have two bedrooms that are wheelchair accessible.

YES. We need to know how many days/nights you plan to stay, how many meals you will need, how many guests you will have, and what type of lodging you need.

YES. The dining rooms double as meeting rooms. The deck is perfect as a break-out space.
Guests may also use the lobby or the seating areas in the rooms/cabins with the sofas for small group discussions.
There are also three outdoor amphitheaters, a labyrinth, and other outdoor areas to gather and meet.

We do not serve or provide alcohol.
However, you may have a one-hour toasting period or social hour by bringing and serving your adult beverages.
The Site Director has the discretion to monitor the use of alcohol.
