Driving to the Craigville Retreat Center is a treat in itself. Meandering on a slightly curved road passing colorful houses on street with names like Strawberry Hill.

The retreat center, in the town of Centerville, MA sits within a village neighborhood among 150 well maintained yards and houses are the many buildings that make up the retreat center.

Craigville can host 1 person in an apartment or 184 guests utilizing all the lodging. Guests can choose from a self-contained cottage with kitchen and living areas or bedrooms & meeting space in the Inn all while enjoying our meal service.

Though we specialize in hosting nonprofit groups who are looking for a place to gather, we encourage all groups looking for a gathering space to inquire.

With so many ecological wonders within a hike or paddle, our retreat center is perfect for groups looking for natural setting.

Lodging Options

We have four, self-contained cottages with kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms.  The smallest accommodates 8 guests, the largest 12.

The Manor sits on the bluff looking onto the Craigville beach and features lodging and meeting for groups of 15-23 guests in a total of 9 bedrooms, most with a bathroom. Enjoy the living area with a brick fireplace, central heat, kitchen, and beautiful sun porch.

Overlooking the beautiful salt marsh of Nantucket Sound, Sunset Lodge features lodging and meeting space for groups of 30-45 guests. There are 11 bedrooms (single and double beds), each with a bathroom, as well as a living area with a stone fireplace, central heat, a meeting room with tables & chairs, a beverage & snack area, an enclosed porch, and a dining area.

Right in the heart of the Village and across from the center “greens” lawn. The Craigville Inn and can sleep 15 to 55 guests. Two stories, the first floor has 12 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, 2 half baths, and a large dining room. The second floor has 17 bedrooms, 8 full bathrooms, and 2 half baths, both single & double-sized beds available. There is a meeting area with tables & chairs and a front porch.

The Marshview, Manor Lower, & Seaview Apartments

Overlooking the Salt Marshes, the Marshview apartments are wonderful getaways for individuals, couples, or program leaders.

Each apartment’s kitchenette features a fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker.

Seaview offers a full kitchen.


Meeting Areas

The Manor
The living room with fireplace has ample couches & chairs for seating.
A sunroom also provides a cozy meeting room.

Sunset Lodge
The Lodge has a living room with couches & fireplace. A larger meeting room serves as a gathering area for larger groups. Chairs, tables, and sofas can be configured to meet group needs.

Craigville Inn Meeting Area 
A meeting area at the front of the Craigville Inn serves as a gathering place for groups.

The Tabernacle
From mid-spring through mid-Fall, the beautiful and historic Craigville Tabernacle, seating up to 250, can be used for large meetings, gatherings, worship, or seminars.

The side doors & windows open up completely in good weather for a refreshing setting.

Dining Hall
Holds up to 130 people and provides beautiful views of our Red Lily Pond. Year-round meeting area.

Outdoor Chapel
Bench seating for up to 50 people

Outdoor Areas
There are a number of areas around the retreat center and village for small groups to gather


With so much to do during your stay, you are welcome to enjoy lots of activities.

Craigville beach with private access, volleyball and tennis courts, a picnic area, Red Lily Pond, a small outdoor vespers circle, a playground for children, the “Green” lawn area and a ball field.
