Wonderful Meal Service

We have a full-service kitchen at Applegate Jesuit Retreat Center, and our staff loves to prepare delicious homemade meals. Our large dining hall seats 120 guests with stunning views of the open meadow to view while you dine. We are happy to work with guests who have special diet requests, just let us know ahead of time.

Dining Service

We love creating homemade desserts for our guests like this sweet and rich coffee sauce-infused pavlova with coffee whipped cream. We offer homemade family-style meals or buffet options. We are a full-service kitchen serving three meals per day. Enjoy a variety of entrees, salads, and of course, mouth-watering desserts.

Sample Breakfasts

All breakfasts include cold cereals, oatmeal, bread or bakery items, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. In addition, please choose one of the following entrees:

  • Pancakes with sausage or bacon or ham

  • Scrambled eggs with potatoes

  • Frittata

  • French toast with sausage or bacon or ham

  • Vegetable & egg scramble

  • Ham & egg scramble

NOTE

Vegetarian options are available at all meals. We can accommodate most food allergies and restrictions with an advance notice of at least 2 weeks. We are happy to work with you regarding birthdays, themes, or other special requests.

Sample Lunches

All lunches include appropriate side dishes, salad or salad bar or fruit, beverages, and dessert. In addition, please choose one of the following entrees:

  • Grilled cheese sandwiches with soup

  • Sandwich Bar with soup OR salad

  • Chili & Cornbread

  • Soup and Salad Bar

  • Pizza

  • Burger Bar (beef, turkey and/or veggie patties)

  • Baked Potato & Salad Bar with tons of toppings

  • Fajita/Burrito Bar (flour & corn tortillas)

  • Tuna/Chicken salad and soup

  • Mac & Cheese

Sample Dinners

All dinners include appropriate side dishes, salads, beverages, and desserts. In addition, please choose one of the following entrees:

  • Lasagne (meat or veggie)

  • Spaghetti (meat and/or veggie sauce)

  • Beef or Veggie Stroganoff

  • Pot Roast

  • BBQ Beef ribs or chicken

  • Enchilada Casserole

  • Enchiladas (chicken or cheese)

  • Stew (beef and/or veggie)

  • Roast Turkey
