Dear friends and guests of UCCR, 

We are acutely aware of current concerns regarding the Covid-19. We want to let you know about our cleaning and hygienic practices at every one of our sites. The health of our staff and guests has always been of high importance to us. Our housekeeping, food service, and maintenance teams are experienced, and we take pride in the cleanliness of our properties.   

During this outbreak, in addition to our regular cleaning programs, we utilize products that have been approved by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and contain the recommended dilution of quaternary ammonias to combat Covid-19. We are conducting deep-cleanings of the guest rooms, common areas, and dining facilities between each group. This deep cleaning focuses on sanitization of all non-porous surfaces, with particular attention to high-touch areas (doorknobs, light switches, faucet handles, etc.). Our linens are professionally cleaned before each guests’ use, and non-porous bedding is sanitized after each guest departs. Our staff wear gloves to lessen room-to-room transfer of any viruses.   

Our sites continue to work under any additional recommendations provided by their respective counties’ Department of Public Health, as well as under the direction of the United Camps, Conferences, & Retreats Director of Site Operations. We will continue updating our website with any new information. Your group leader will be contacted by UCCR with any other pertinent updates.
