Monte Toyon Helping Hands

Sometimes you wonder how you can help. Other times an opportunity arises and you grab hold.

Since fire season in California affected our area so closely this year, Monte Toyon Camp was fortunately safe, but we were able to help offer refuge to people who have been displaced.

It is with great heart that Mickey, our Site Director, and his wife Tiffany, made sure these people were fed and had a safe place to rest and slumber.

Mickey, at the front of the serving side, helps serve up some food donated from local restaurants to an evacuee from the fire just up north of the camp.

In addition to helping so many displaced evacuee’s Mickey also took a moment to photograph the outdoor social distancing classroom that Web of Life (WOLF) School will be using to host children.
