To Touch the Serenity of Nature
Right now, we think it’s safe to say everyone wants this pandemic to end.
It has changed how we live day-to-day and prevented us from gathering.
In a time such as this, getting into the mountains or forests or to the coast is a welcomed visit. To touch the serenity of nature offers a solace to our rattled lives.
John Muir writes, in Our National Parks:
“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity.”
Our sites are certainly not completely wild, but they will give you a sense of wilderness and nature’s beauty.
It is in this spirit, that we want to invite you to consider a family or household get-away to one of our UCCR camp, conference or retreat facilities.
Right now, several of our facilities have self-contained socially distanced options available for booking. At the rest of the UCCR managed facilities, we are putting our heads together to come up with new solutions and safe practices that serve you. We are re-working our lodging accommodations, meeting areas, and dining areas to meet your needs.
We are moving beds, tables and thoughtfully creating more outdoor areas for social-distance small group gatherings.
Contact us today so that we can work with you to help you design the perfectly safe getaway.
