NorCal Retreat House Re-Opening During Pandemic

Community of the Great Commission Camp is now open to small groups and families. We are excited to announce the re-opening of our camp and retreat center just in time to experience the beauty and serenity of the Sierra Foothills in this summer haven.

We have two areas options currently open. Claar house, a self contained retreat house which sleeps up to 20 guests and Bobbitt Cabins, a group of 8 separate cabins fully equipped with bathrooms and bunk beds.

Both of these are open for your enjoyment during this time of the pandemic as a place to getaway and enjoy nature. Here are more details:

Claar House

  • Up to 20 guests.

  • Air conditioning in the main area.

  • Well stocked kitchen - dishes, utensils, mugs, glasses and cooking pots.

  • A ramp leads from the parking area to the main doors for accessibility.

  • Multiple bathrooms.

  • Near the pool which will be open through mid-September.

Bobbitt Cabins

  • Five available cabins are situated in the forest

  • Bobbitt Hall has one bedroom that sleeps 2 guests.

  • While each cabin has a bathroom, a centrally located shower house is also available to Bobbitt area guests.

  • Call for new social distancing capacities.

Community of the Great Commission also has plenty of tent camping and RV parking options for groups looking for other options.
